Plans & Parts

Plans License

These terms cover every set of plans sold on shipwreckstories.com by Redeemed Restoration: drawings, bills of material, assembly instructions, product sheets and any CAD files. Each drawing carries a short notice that points here.

Who it covers

The license is for the person who bought the plans. It is personal and cannot be transferred.

What you may do

  • Build the design for your own use, as many times as you need for yourself.
  • Print the plans and keep copies on your own devices.
  • Have a machine shop make parts for your own build. You may give the shop the drawings it needs for those parts, and only for that job.
  • Change the design for your own build. The changed design is still covered by these terms.

What you may not do

  • Copy, share, post, upload or resell the plans or any part of them, in print or digital form.
  • Sell parts or complete units made from the plans, or build them for anyone else, without written permission from Redeemed Restoration.
  • Remove the copyright or license notices from the drawings.

If you want to build these for sale or for a group, get in touch. A commercial license may be available.

Safety and responsibility

The plans are provided as is. You are responsible for the materials, the workmanship and the safe use of anything you build from them. Check the finished build before use, follow the ratings and limits on the product sheet and drawings, and never use it to lift people or to hold loads over people.

No warranty

Redeemed Restoration makes no warranty that the plans are free of errors or fit for any particular purpose. To the extent the law allows, Redeemed Restoration is not liable for any loss, damage or injury from building or using anything made from the plans. Total liability is limited to the price paid for the plans.

Refunds

Plans are digital and are delivered as soon as payment clears, so sales are final. If a file is damaged or missing, contact us and we will send a working copy.
